实验室2013级博士生史晓伟为第一作者、朱陵群研究员为通讯作者在《Journal of Ethnopharmacology》2016年第190期发表了名为《Panax notoginsengsaponins provide neuroprotection by regulating NGR1/RhoA/ROCK2 pathwayexpression,in vitro and in vivo》的文章；在《Metab Brain Dis》杂志2016年DOI 10.1007/s11011-016-9901-3发表名为《Panax notoginseng saponins administration modulates pro-/anti-inflammatory factor expression and improves neurologic outcome followingpermanent MCAO in rats》的文章。两篇文章影响因子分别为3.05和2.76. 第一篇文章指出三七总皂苷通过抑制NGR1/RhoA/ROCK2的通路的表达，从而发挥脑梗死大鼠梗死的皮层保护作用及促进神经恢复的作用。第二篇文章指出三七总皂苷具有调节永久性脑梗死大鼠梗死皮层炎症因子的作用，通过抑制促炎因子IL-1β、TNF-α的表达及促进抑炎因子TGF-β的表达而发挥脑保护作用。
